Shipping policy

DELIVERY CHARGES

  • Orders placed online, via the Bishop Sports & Leisure website or approved affiliate portals, will be subject to a flat delivery fee of £4.95 (+VAT) provided that the order does not contain an item marked as “carriage extra” and the delivery address is within the UK mainland, excluding Scotland.
  • Orders placed offline will incur a delivery fee of £8.95 (+VAT), providing that the order does not contain an item marked as “carriage extra” and the delivery address is within the UK mainland, excluding Scotland.
  • All other orders will be shipped at cost and calculated at the time of order placement. Please ask for a quotation when placing the order. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Deliveries to addresses in postcode areas AB, IV, KW, PA and PH.
    • Deliveries to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and all other offshore territories.
    • Any order which contains an item marked as “carriage extra”.

DELIVERY TIMESCALES

  • For items that are carried in our local warehouse, are not “carriage extra” items and are being shipped to mainland UK (excluding Scotland) we aim to follow the following timescales:
    • Order Processing: 0 to 3 days (0 days/same day dispatch cut off is 12:00pm).
    • Transportation: 1 to 4 days after Processing.
    • The target being a maximum of 7 days from receipt of order to delivery.

RECEIVING YOUR GOODS

  • Your goods will be delivered either by mail or a national carrier. If premises are likely to be unmanned, please include instructions on the order to ensure that an authorised signatory will be available to sign for delivery. Abortive deliveries may be subject to a charge being made if appropriate instructions are not given. When you receive your goods the number of packages in the consignment will be shown on the carrier’s delivery note. Please ensure that you sign for the correct number of packages and if possible note any damage or defects on the delivery note.

NOTIFICATION OF SHORTAGES OR DAMAGE

  • We recognise that it may not always be possible for you to inspect your goods at the time they are delivered. However please inspect the goods at the earliest opportunity as shortages or damage must be notified to us orally within 3 business days of delivery and confirmed in writing within 7 days of delivery.
