This international tournament will see young hockey talent from across Europe compete in a high-energy showcase of skill, teamwork, and determination.

The Easter Lions Cup – A Prestigious Youth Tournament

The Easter Lions Cup is one of the most exciting youth ice hockey tournaments in Europe. Held in the Czech Republic, it brings together talented young teams for an action-packed weekend of competition. For the Slough Jets U11, this is not just a chance to test themselves against top-level opponents, but also an incredible opportunity for personal growth, teamwork, and international experience.

Tournament Details:

Dates: 4–6 April 2025
Location: Ice Arena Most, Czech Republic
Participants: U11 teams (2014 & younger AAA/AA) from various countries

The tournament guarantees each team a minimum of five games, providing ample opportunity for the young athletes to showcase their skills and gain valuable experience on the ice.

03/04/25 - Final Training Session

The Slough Jet Juniors have landed safely in the Czech Republic ahead of the Easter Lions Cup 2025! The team completed their final training session today and are feeling confident as the tournament kicks off tomorrow.

We’re proud to support the team and will be sharing updates throughout the event as they compete on the international stage.

04/04/25 - Game Day Ready

The Slough Jet Juniors are all set for the tournament kickoff in Czechia. Today’s behind-the-scenes photos show their changing room prepped and ready, with kits hung and equipment in place. It’s almost time to hit the ice, and excitement is building. We’ll be sharing more updates as the action unfolds!

04/04/25 - Training Recognition for Bella

The team spirit is high here in Czechia, and it's fantastic to see hard work being recognised. After yesterday’s training session, Bella was awarded the “Hardest Worker” hat, a great reflection of her effort and commitment on the ice.

05/04/25 - Slough Jet Juniors Through to the Semi-Finals

It’s been an incredible day for the Slough Jets Juniors in Czechia as the group stage came to a close. The team delivered two strong wins out of three matches, finishing second in their group and securing a well-earned place in the semi-finals.

The energy on the ice has been intense and focused, with every player giving their all in every shift. Off the ice, spirits are high and the celebrations in the changing room say it all!

We’re incredibly proud of how far they’ve come and can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.

06/04/25 - Slough Jets Wrap Up an Incredible Tournament

The Easter Lions Cup has come to an end — and what a journey it's been for the Slough Jet Juniors! After a strong run through the group stages and semi-finals, the team battled hard and finished 4th overall in the tournament.

The action didn’t stop there. The event also featured four individual skill competitions, and the Jets made their mark:

Noah Owen (#86) took the crown in the Slalom Challenge

Finlay Stubbs (#46) came out on top in the Shooting Challenge

An amazing finish to an unforgettable weekend of hockey.
